Sue A. Greeno – Medicare Advocate

Sue Greeno joined the Center for Medicare Advocacy in 2015 with over 20 years of social justice and advocacy work under her belt. As a Medicare Advocate, Ms. Greeno works to improve health care access for all people who rely on Medicare, through personal advocacy and the delivery of CMA’s educational and outreach programs.

Prior to joining The Center, Ms. Greeno served as lead staff for the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) at Senior Resources, Area Agency on Aging, where she offered long term care planning, supports and services. As a CHOICES certified counselor since 2001, Ms. Greeno provided Medicare counseling and education to thousands of Medicare beneficiaries throughout Connecticut.

During her earlier work, Ms. Greeno enabled Community Health Center, Inc. to become the first federally qualified health center in the State of Connecticut to provide immediate access to Medicaid for their patients through her leadership in implementing HUSKY Presumptive Eligibility.  

Ms. Greeno is a 2007 Health Leadership Fellow of the Connecticut Health Foundation.
