ShuMin He comes to the Center with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a certificate in Paralegal Studies. As a paralegal, Ms. He provides assistance for the Center’s Third Party Liability project and Department on Aging and Disability Services project. Her job is an integral part of the Center’s high-volume administrative appeals process and she also assists with other work related to the Center’s mission.
Prior to joining the Center, Ms. He worked at a personal injury law office where she handled client intakes and managed case files. She also worked in direct services when she provided services to immigrants and refugees at Asian Americans United and Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society(HIAS).
Ms. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Haverford College and a paralegal certificate from San Diego Miramar College.
