Kepro is now Acentra Health
Beneficiary and Family-Centered Care Quality Improvement Organizations (BFCC-QIOs) help Medicare beneficiaries with their concerns about quality of care, and in filing an appeal if coverage is ending too soon. As of July 1, 2024, the BFCC-QIO formerly known as Kepro is officially Acentra Health. In December of 2022, CNSI, “a leading provider of innovative healthcare technology solutions,” and Kepro, “a leading provider of technology-enabled care management, quality oversight and clinical assessment services” merged. The Acentra Health brand was born in 2023, and notices with the new brand’s logo have been received by Medicare beneficiaries. Acentra Health assures beneficiaries there have been no changes to the services it provides. Acentra Health’s service areas include the following CMS Regions:
- Region 1: CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT;
- Region 4: AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN;
- Region 6: AR, LA, NM, OK, TX;
- Region 8: CO, MT, ND, SD, UT, WY; and
- Region 10: AK, ID, OR, WA.
