Matthew E. Shepard, MA – Communications Director

January 26, 2021

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Matthew Shepard came to the Center For Medicare Advocacy in 1996, seeking a brief respite from the education field. Expecting a short-term, uninvolved job, Matt found, upon getting to know his fellow staff and the work of the Center, that he had no desire to leave. He has since moved from general office assistance to coordinating all the Center’s written and electronic communications, website, podcasts, newsletters, webinars, and weekly e-Alerts. In addition, Matt works with the Development Director with fundraising and outreach, and the Executive and Associate Directors as needed.

Matt graduated from Tufts University in 1992 with a BA in English. He immediately re-enrolled and graduated in 1993 with an MA in teaching, which explains his love of editing.
