Kevin Metivier, CPA joined the Center for Medicare Advocacy in December 2024 as the Finance and Benefits Director. With over 25 years of experience in accounting, Mr. Metivier brings a comprehensive understanding of financial strategy, operations, and reporting to the Center. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. He is also responsible for managing the company’s employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
Prior to joining the Center, Mr. Metivier served over eight years as Finance Director for a nonprofit organization in Mystic, CT. Prior to his nonprofit work, he held various positions with Otis Elevator Company such as Internal Controls Sr. Analyst, Finance Manager, and Treasury Manager during an 11-year tenure. Earlier in his career, he worked in public accounting in taxation and auditing.
Mr. Metivier graduated from The University of Connecticut with a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the CT Society of CPAs. He served in the U.S. Air Force after high school.
