The Center for Medicare Advocacy (CMA) submitted comments together with Justice in Aging on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed rule regarding Conditions of Participation in Medicare. Our comments outlined how the NPRM’s use of the Conditions of Participation violate the Medicare statute and would ultimately result in fewer providers to serve all Medicare enrollees. Comments were due on February 17, 2026.
