Jeff Wiseman is the Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships for the Center for Medicare Advocacy, having joined the organization in 2020. Jeff helps to lead community outreach and revenue development for CMA. He was trained and mentored by some of the most accomplished fundraising campaign managers in the performing arts industry and has worked in development and marketing for NYC’s The Public Theater/Shakespeare in the Park, Carnegie Hall, New York Philharmonic, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Metropolitan Opera.
As an environmentalist in the private sector, Jeff spent several years as General Manager of Tri-State Biodiesel, an alternative fuel company that led an annual clean air initiative to replace 20 million gallons of petro-based diesel with clean biodiesel fuel, made from the recycled cooking oil from over 5,000 clients annually, including MetLife Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Barclays Center, Luna Park, and Grand Central Terminal.
Jeff has worked as a theater director, playwright, and actor on major productions in 30 cities in 11 countries, including with Ping Chong & Company, Big Art Group, Sydney Theatre Company, Cleveland Play House, Cleveland Public Theatre, and Theater for the New City. He graduated magna cum laude from Kent State University Honors College upon completion of his thesis project, Making Performance from Personal Narrative with Ping Chong, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Jeff is a Trustee of the Duckworth Gallery in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
