With former President Trump’s reelection, and changes in Congress, the mission and drive of the Center for Medicare Advocacy remain unchanged.
Our mission is to advance access to comprehensive Medicare coverage, health equity, and quality health care for older people and people with disabilities. We will continue to do our work, including highlighting the ongoing barriers to care that Medicare beneficiaries face, particularly those with chronic conditions. We will continue to advocate for stronger consumer protections and oversight of Medicare Advantage plans, and the dangers of an increasingly privatized Medicare program. And we will continue to help Medicare beneficiaries navigate the Medicare program and obtain necessary care.
We will work with policymakers with whom we agree on particular issues, regardless of party. We will advocate, push to regulate, and if necessary, litigate to continue our mission. Over 66 million Medicare beneficiaries deserve no less.
The unwavering advocacy that CMA provides for a strong traditional Medicare program needs your support now more than ever, as proponents of privatization gain more influence. Please click here to support the Center for Medicare Advocacy today.
