At the 2024 Aging CT Summit, Aging CT honored and celebrated the CMA’s founder and Senior Advisor, Judy Stein. State Comptroller Sean Scanlon, Aging and Disability Services Commissioner Amy Porter, and the state’s five Area Agency on Aging Directors joined in celebrating Judy’s immeasurable contributions to advancing Medicare coverage and access, both in Connecticut and nationwide. At the event, Aging CT announced the creation of the Judith A. Stein Advocate’s Award; an award to be given to “the person or persons who embodies [Ms. Stein’s] tireless advocacy, [her] passion to give voice to under-represented communities, and [her] protection of the basic human rights of older adults and individuals with disabilities”. Please join us in congratulating Judy on this well-deserved award!
