CMA Co-director David Lipschutz will join the Center for American Progress virtual conversation on the far-reaching consequences of the proposed budget reconciliation bill on older adults, people living with disabilities, and other Medicare enrollees. The one-hour panel discussion will be held next Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 10:30 EDT via Zoom.
The legislation would raise health care costs for millions of Americans by enacting the largest cut to Medicaid in the program’s history. Notably, the bill would also make it more difficult for 1.3 million Medicare beneficiaries to access programs that help them afford essential services, including prescription drugs.
Other presenters include: Andrea Ducas, Vice President of Health Policy at the Center for American Progress; Donald Berwick, CAP Senior Fellow; Gelila Selassie, Senior Attorney, Justice in Aging; and Nicole Jorwic, Chief Program Officer, Caring Across Generations.
