Center for Medicare Advocacy alum Kathleen Holt has been nominated by Gov. Ned Lamont to be Connecticut’s new Healthcare Advocate. As noted in a press release, the position “is responsible for serving as the head of the Office of the Healthcare Advocate, a state agency that provides free direct legal services, advice, and support to Connecticut families and businesses facing health insurance claim denials or other challenges with their public or private health coverage.” We wish Kathy all the best in her new role.
