Aisha Hameed comes to the Center with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a certificate in paralegal studies. As a paralegal, she provides legal support to the litigation team, assisting with case management, document preparation, and research. She also supports the Department on Aging and Disability Services project and provides daily maintenance for the Center’s social media platforms, content creation and daily updates.
Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Hameed interned at a real estate law office, where she handled client communication and clerical duties. She co-founded the first chapter of the Muslim Student Association at Eastern Connecticut State University and was actively involved in outreach. She continues this work as an integral part of the Center’s outreach team, educating the public on its mission.
Ms. Hameed holds a Bachelor of Arts from ECSU and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Hartford.
