Below is Steve's moving video, delivered through the use of his speech-generating device with eye-gaze technology, thanking the Center for our part in helping to pass the Steve Gleason Act, which ensures that people living with disabilities who require SGDs to communicate can rely on Medicare for payment, even if they later find themselves in a hospital, nursing home, or hospice, and provides coverage for the accessories needed by individuals to use their SGDs.
