2010 Medicare Cost Sharing

On October 16th, 2009, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) released notices detailing the Medicare Part A and Part B premiums and Deductibles for calendar year 2010.[1]  This information is expected to appear in the Federal Register on October 22nd, 2009. 

 

Cost-Sharing for Part A and Part B

 

Hospital Deductible: $1,100 per spell of illness

 

Hospital Coinsurance:

Skilled Nursing Facility Coinsurance

Part A Premium (for voluntary enrollees only)
